The Learning Disabilities Association of Maine (LDA of Maine) maintains this website in order to provide information and resources to individuals with learning disabilities, their families and the professionals who work with them. The privacy of those who use this website and especially the members of LDA of Maine are of the utmost importance to us. The information we collect about you when you become a member, conference registrant, book buyer, donor or constituent, is used to process your membership, order, registration, donation or request for information, and to provide you with member benefits.

When you become a member of LDA of Maine, we ask you to fill out a form that requests your name, address, telephone number, and email address. Your name and address information is used solely to process your membership, donation, order, or request for information and referral. By policy of LDA of Maine, this information will never be sold, given rented or traded to others for purposes other than providing you member benefit opportunities.

LDA of Maine utilizes the services of intermediaries such as United Parcel Service (UPS) FedEx and various mailing houses to process and send our member renewals, solicitations, newsletters, etc. To our knowledge, these intermediaries do not store, retain or use the information in any way.

From time to time we may send out email messages soliciting your support, prompting a call to action, or alerting you to information of importance to LDA of Maine members. In addition, you may receive communications from us if you have contacted us for a particular reason, and to receive the information or service you have requested.
